Notes of Campari, red liquorice and boysenberry. On the palate – bright, fresh and bursting with juvenile charm.

Vintage
After the inclement spring, it was dry and warm for much of January and all of February. We chose to push ripeness (a week to 10 days longer than usual) to allow the tannins to catch up with sugar, and we emphasized cold soaks over leaving the wines on skins. First appearance for Pommard clone in the blend this year.
Bunch proportion is as high as ever, with bunches being riper than in 2021. Riper fruit character but not the structure of the ’21. More mid palate and length though due to the small crops.
Winemaker
60% whole bunch fermented; 40% whole berry. Blended and bottled young to capture its vibrancy as a spring pinot. Made with Cru Beaujolais as an inspiration. Picked in the red fruit spectrum. Unfined, vegan friendly, minimal filtration. Minimal preservatives added.
